Интересно, почему мои отношения с американской иммиграционной службой (USCIS) с самого начала строятся так “сложно”?

Свою Green Card я ждал 5 (пять) лет. При положенной, ими же, норме — 1 (один) год.

Теперь, вот, неизвестно кто, сидел на моих документах 3 (три) месяца.

Несчастный — я!

Не любят они меня.

Все же, USCIS — служба потрясающая. Как они работают — неизвестно, но…

Сегодня мне позвонил офицер, с которым я долго разговаривал, когда ездил на прием. Он сообщил мне, что едет ревизор, мои документы нашлись.

Как они это сделали — неизвестно. Однако, через три месяца лежания на чьем-то стуле или столе документы нашлись.
