Мужчина на коляске погиб, пересекая проезжую часть. Написано, правда, что он нарушал правила.

A man in a wheelchair crossing Southeast Division Street at 168th Avenue was struck and killed by a motorist late Wednesday, the Portland Police Bureau said.

Richard Nordby, 67, of Portland was crossing Division northbound about 9:30 p.m. when he was hit by a westbound vehicle driven by Victor M. Arechiga Coronado, 23, of Portland, police said.

Investigators have determined that the man in the wheelchair was crossing against the signal and that the driver had the right of way.

They said the driver was not cited and cooperated with police at the scene.
